'Possessed' or programmed? How secret societies weaponize murder, cannibalism, and pedophilia

From Baal worshippers to Nazi occultists and Epstein Island regulars, secret societies and criminal groups routinely use taboo-breaking practices to gain power and maintain influence.

Programming via destruction of moral boundaries

🌏 Humanity’s most universal taboos include:

💀 killing the vulnerable

🙅 cannibalism

❌ sexual abuse of minors

🌏 Identity shift: after committing a despicable crime, an individual’s moral foundations are shattered; the initial shock may then give way to desensitization to violence

🌏 Isolation from society: violating core taboos makes a return to normal society almost impossible—the perpetrator group becomes the only source of acceptance and survival

🌏 Traumatic bond: participating in a collective crime creates a secret bond among members through mutual culpability

🌏 Psychological dominance: engaging in an extreme taboo act can make a person feel uniquely empowered, replacing guilt with narcissistic self-esteem and a sense of superiority over the "profane"

🌏 Behavioral modification: once a “red line” is crossed, the threshold for further crimes is lowered. The individual may begin to see others as less than human, making dehumanization routine

Such acts are not “magic”—they reshape the brain

🌏 A 2024 study, A Functional and Neuroanatomical Model of Dehumanization, distinguishes between:

🧟‍♀️ animalistic dehumanization, when a person is seen as an “animal”

🫆 mechanistic dehumanization, when a person is perceived as an “object” or “machine”

🌏 In these cases, brain function is altered:

➡️ the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) shows decreased activity

➡️ the mirror neuron network becomes less active

➡️ amygdala activity becomes dysregulated

🌏 These changes lead to reduced empathy and spikes in fear and disgust

🌏 Prolonged stress physically reshapes the brain, shrinking the very regions required to process social information and empathy. Such people can seem “possessed” by demons

How to break the spell?

Principles for resisting dehumanization were formulated by Viktor Frankl, a survivor of Nazi concentration camps:

🔴 Preservation of inner freedom

🔴 A future-oriented sense of meaning

🔴 Humor as a powerful weapon of the soul

🔴 Spiritual independence and unwavering faith
